Project finance is one of our major practice areas. As provided in our representative transactions, we have been engaged as counsel in connection with several major and groundbreaking projects, including the US$720 million greenfield financing facility of GN Power Mariveles for its 600MW coal-fired power project, the PhP33.21 billion project finance facility to Pagbilao Energy Corp. for its 400MW expansion plant, and the financing of the 455MW San Buenaventura Power Project, which was awarded 2015 Asia Pacific Power Deal of the Year by Project Finance International.

Public-Private Partnerships (PPP)
Abuda Asis & Associates’ work in this area involves acting as legal counsel and advisor in connection with the financing and development of several Public-Private Partnership undertakings sponsored by the Philippine government. These PPP undertakings include the construction of the NAIA Expressway Project, the Mactan-Cebu International Airport and the LRT 1 Expansion Project.
